Reporting to the Superintendent, the Foreman plays a pivotal role in maintaining site safety, driving crew productivity, and delivering high-quality results that meet project specifications and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise and lead field crews in the construction and maintenance of underground utilities, concrete, and paving projects.
• Ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and according to scope and Terra Contracting standards.
• Serve as the on-site lead, coordinating daily work activities, equipment usage, and material deliveries.
• Maintain clear communication with the Superintendent regarding daily progress, crew performance, and any site issues.
• Conduct quality control inspections to verify compliance with plans and safety standards.
• Mentor and train crew members to improve skills, ensure safety compliance, and encourage career growth.
• Enforce housekeeping practices to keep job sites clean, safe, and organized.
• Accurately complete and submit daily production logs and site reports.
• Lead or participate in daily safety talks and ensure all OSHA requirements are followed.

Qualifications :

3+ years of years of experience in underground utility or civil construction.

Previous experience supervising or leading field crews.

Solid understanding of underground utility installation, site safety protocols, and construction documentation.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and job specifications.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

OSHA 30 Certification or willing to obtain

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Willingness to work outdoors in all conditions and lead by example.

Schedule :

Full-Time

Monday - Friday (Occasional weekends as needed)
