Practice preventative Cardiology in South Florida!

Private practice is seeking a Cardiologist who is like-minded and would appreciate the flexibility of a primarily office based, outpatient Cardiology practice. The office practice includes clinical cardiology, lipidology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, Holter monitors, stress tests, outpatient home sleep studies, loop recorder implants amongst other routine parts of the practice. The group also practices Board certified obesity medicine focused on evidence-based approaches. The position is preferably full time but negotiable based on lifestyle needs. Currently we are on staff but not actively doing consultations at the local hospitals. If more call at the hospital is desired to increase productivity that could be arranged. The office patient volume would start at 3 patients / hour, to be expected to go up to 4 patients / hr. based on an 8 hour workday. The position can be structured as an employee or independent contractor with partnership opportunity after one year. The salary would be based on a minimum of $1000 a day for an 8 hour workday including call and a productivity bonus structure package to be negotiated. The reality is that the actual call is minimal (rare phone calls only) and that is a significant attraction to this particular opportunity. Benefits include health insurance at our discounted group rates that would be available to the candidate. Malpractice insurance will be covered. PTO - 1 week of paid vacation for every 4 months worked (3 weeks per year).
