Millwright and Welder Foreman Location : Based in Des Moines, IA (Majority of work throughout Central Iowa) Schedule : Monday – Friday | 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM (Overtime Available)

Pay Rate : $30.00 / hr

Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Millwright and Welder Foreman to lead a small crew on mechanical installation and maintenance projects throughout Central Iowa. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong mechanical skills and the ability to manage day-to-day job site operations safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise and work alongside millwright crew during installations, repairs, and maintenance of mechanical and material handling systems such as grain mills and elevators and agricultural equipment, conveyors, and working on plant shut- downs.
• Ensure daily tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards Interpret and work from blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings
• Perform mechanical work using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment (STICK Process), and machinery. ID a quality weld and insure projects are up to specification.
• Coordinate with project managers and report on progress or job site concerns
• Train and mentor crew members on best practices and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Enforce OSHA and company safety policies at all times

Qualifications :

Preferred Qualifications : OSHA 10 or 30 certification Experience with agricultural or grain handling systems CDL or willingness to obtain one is a plus
