Patient Care Tech-Certified

The Patient Care Tech-Certified performs nonprofessional direct and indirect patient care activities including personal, physical and comfort needs of patients, under the supervision of a registered professional nurse. The PCT-C will provide high-quality patient care in coordination with licensed medical staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Education, Certification, and / or Licensure :

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
• Completion of WVUM Patient Care Technician program OR Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by state where services are provided :
• OH Nurse Aide through Ohio Nurses Aide Registry
• WV Nurse Aide through WV DHHR Certified Nursing Assistant
