As a leading community health center with over 40 clinics throughout Washington and Oregon, we provide a comprehensive range of services including medical, dental, pharmacy, orthodontia, nutritional counseling, autism screening, and behavioral health. Our holistic approach also addresses shelter, energy, weatherization, HIV and AIDS counseling, home visits, and mobile clinics.

Position Highlights

Competitive hourly rate of $27.60-$40.64, depending on experience.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

Maintain and update patient medical records, ensuring accurate vital signs, treatments, medications, and immunization details are recorded.

Prepare for patient visits by reviewing files and collaborating with providers for efficient scheduling and continuity of care.

Prepare and maintain exam rooms, explain procedures to patients, educate and coach them, address their questions, and assist physicians during exams and procedures.

Collect and prepare lab specimens, administer medications, and fulfill other assigned clinical responsibilities.

Qualifications :

A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.

Completion of an accredited medical assisting program (720 hours of training including a 160-hour externship), approved apprentice program, or military training equivalent is required.

Preferred : at least one year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant.

CPR certification is mandatory.

National credential from AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Strong medical knowledge to understand the theories, reasons, and technical aspects of medicine.

Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse range of personalities and backgrounds.

Ability to multitask effectively while managing varying workloads.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Epic, and EMR.
