The Development lead will hold end-to-end technical & delivery responsibilities as it relates to the designing, implementing, deployment and managing the successful delivery of complex Salesforce solutions for our customers. These technologies include but are not necessarily limited to Salesforce.com products and APIs, Apex / Visualforce, Lightning, mobile development technologies, and integration / ETL technologies. The Technical Lead is expected to lead Practice efforts in both presale and implementation by understanding the customer's business, processes and system needs, and representing the experience and capabilities of the organization from a technical perspective. This includes the assessing viable solution options, providing industry best practices to clients, formulating and presenting solution options, implementing and delivering for optimal client success and adoption of SFDC or other right solutions, fit-gap analysis of customers current state with industry best practices, overseeing the production of deliverables, and establishing trusted advisor status with business and technology stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
Successful Client Engagements
- Facilitate discovery, fit gap sessions with customer to understand the AS-IS state and gaps between current state and to-be state as well as industry best practices
- Lead and support client engagements effectively, managing project scope, schedule, and overall quality of delivery from technical perspective
- Lead business process redesign, roadmap planning and sprint demos of technical capabilities (for clients which have multiple system / application)
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform
- Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end states
- Configure / customize solution in client environment
- Hands on development using Salesforce.com technology stack (Apex, Aura, LWC, Aura, APIs).
- Coordinate with other teams for any integration related requirements.
- Perform deployments (leveraging latest tools / processes like DevOps, CI / CD) and data migrations.
- Salesforce Sandbox refresh and post refresh
- Release planning & management
- Expert in the assessment of business objectives, formulating solution options, and driving stakeholder support
- Solid experience leading application solution implementation efforts
- Offer suggestions and recommendations during solution design and execution phase from a technical / functional perspective to ensure business intent is understood by the project team
- Ability to understand a project and deep dive to debug issues
- Serve as the bridge / translator between the business team and technical resources during development and implementation to ensure that requirement, design, and dependencies are well understood.
- Responsible for supporting overall QA / testing efforts and supporting business with User Acceptance testing.

Establish trusted advisor status with business and technology stakeholders by guiding them what should be the roadmap of the project and what functional areas will provide maximum business value-addCollect, formulate, and disseminate best practices on solution positioning and delivery based on the initial requirements gathered from the client. It is expected that this individual will guide the customer on implementing best practices in the industryEstablish and use DevOps, CI / CD process for the customerEstablish domain / industry vertical expertise and broad application expertiseDevelop strong client relationships by building trust, rapport and positive working relationships with key sponsors, stakeholders, and team membersCreate reference-able clients by providing them the quality deliverables, reliability, and trusted partnership.Other responsibilities
From time-to-time, the Lead may be expected to partake in other pre-sales activities such as implementing Proof-Of-Concept (POC) development with prospects.Contributes to the ongoing development of solution / program offering approaches, methodologies, techniques, and business development toolsConduct training sessions with internal team on Industry best practices, providing training on our offerings and roadmap, support internal team on gaining understanding of supply chain knowledge as well as our offeringsSupport internal innovations initiatives to build accelerators, implement other features using cutting edge technologies like Artificial Intelligent (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and othersProvide feedback to improve internal processes (e.g., Phase Gate reviews, deliverable templates etc.), document lessons learnedLiaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementationsWilling to Travel to client sites for projects if required.Skills and Qualifications :
Mid-Senior level technical resourceOver 10 years IT experienceOver 8 years of experience with Salesforce platformExpert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Experience CloudExperience with any modern SaaS based Order Management / Inventory Management / Supply Chain Management technologies - Salesforce preferred but any SaaS platform like Oracle SaaS, Manhattan is acceptable as well.Ideal candidate should have Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, System Architect and Application Architect Certifications as well as Sales or Service Cloud consultant certification. If candidate does not have these certifications, it is expected that candidates will obtain these certifications with 6 months of joining.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Candidate should be a fast learner and willing work in fast paced, dynamic work environment. Candidates will be required to train on our SCM product - GlOVIA OM.Work experience with a professional consulting organization (e.g., Big 4 consulting) a plus.Extensive experience contributing as individual contributor capacity on large enterprise software deploymentsBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business or closely related field or equivalent experienceAbility to work effectively in a fast paced, high energy, team-oriented environmentWillingness to travel up to 50% (sometimes up to 75% depending on projects, but mostly our projects can be done remotely)Ability & Willingness to do international travelAbout Us
