What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions, documenting findings according to Allied Universal protocols. Support a welcoming and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors by being visible and approachable during patrols. Collaborate with campus personnel and / or local authorities as needed during incidents or emergency response situations. Remain alert to changes in the environment and communicate promptly with the Allied Universal team regarding any security-related matters. Minimum Requirements : Access control or badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
