RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - PCU

Job Details :

• Work in Tele / PCU Cardiac Unit with 29 private rooms
• Patient ratios of either 1 : 4 or 1 : 5
• Day shift staffing includes : 1 CN, 2 PCT, 1 UC, 7 RNs, and sitters if needed
• Night shift staffing includes : 1 CN, 2 PCT, 7 RNs
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, Telemetry experience
• Preferred qualifications : NIH Stroke Prepared, PALS, ICU, Tele, PCU experience
• Equipment includes telemetry monitoring and continuous pulse oximetry
• EMR system : Meditech
• Typical procedures : blood transfusions, IV starts, midline / central line removals, managing high fall risk patient populations, respiratory and cardiac assessments
• Floating areas : Med Surg, Tele, PCU, ED Holds
• Dress code : Navy blue scrubs
• Weekend availability required
• Must be a team player, engaged, and self-motivated
