Job descriptionGraduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Current RN license for the state of New York. 2 years of ICU / ICU Step Down RN experience in an acute setting is required. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.

Job Function :
- Day Shift / Evening Shift / Night Shift.
- Care for patients transitioning out of the ICU needing more attention than general medical-surgical patients.
- Monitor patients using medical equipment such as catheters, feeding tubes, tracheostomies, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.
- Manage multiple patients with varying ages and conditions during a shift.
- Respond to "code blue" alerts and other urgent situations.
- Provide a comfortable and secure environment, acting as a patient advocate.
