Registered Charge Nurse - Emergency Department

As a dedicated and skilled registered nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing both routine and complex care within our Emergency Department. We are looking for someone who can work independently while being aware of the various aspects of patient care and emergency situations. Your responsibilities will include managing clinical contingencies, making appropriate assignments, and delegating tasks to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Deliver nursing care in accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice through effective assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for your patients.
• Address the diverse emotional, psychological, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Administer medications and treatments following the appropriate protocols, while monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess the learning needs of patients and their families; offer education and identify resources to support their needs.
