Flourishing Lives, a thriving pediatric occupational and speech therapy clinic in St. Clair Shores, MI, is seeking a full or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist who believes therapy should feel safe, joyful, and deeply relational.
We serve clients from infancy through adulthood and focus on providing individualized, client-centered care in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children and their families, eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and committed to fostering communication skills in meaningful and functional ways. We are not an ABA clinic. Our work is guided by relationship, regulation, and connection. Qualifications :
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in MichiganStrong interest in working with pediatric populations, particularly children with ASD, sensory processing challenges, feeding issues, and genetic disorders such as Down syndromeExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to working in a team-based environmentNew graduates are welcome to apply; mentorship and professional development opportunities are availableExperience with (or interest in) child-led, play-based, or trauma-informed therapyExcellent communication and collaboration skills with families and teammatesCommitment to professional learning and reflective practiceSkills :

Provide speech-language evaluations, individualized treatment plans, and therapy for children with a variety of communication, feeding, and sensory processing challengesCollaborate with caregivers, occupational therapists, and other professionals to ensure cohesive and holistic careUtilize creative, flexible therapy approaches that include sensory integration and play-based interventionsConduct therapy in a variety of settings within the clinic, including specialized therapy rooms and an open gym environmentPromote caregiver involvement in therapy sessions to ensure carryover of skills into the home and communityMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and communication with families
