Cloud Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly technical and inspirational Cloud Engineering Manager to lead and elevate our Linux Cloud Compute Operations team. This role is ideal for a bar-raising leader who thrives in a DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) environment and is passionate about mentoring engineers and driving operational excellence across cloud and legacy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Mentorship - Serve as a hands-on technical mentor guiding engineers in areas such as Linux infrastructure AWS compute services (ECS EKS EC2) and scripting.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning innovation and technical excellence.
• Participate actively in incident and problem management processes.
• Infrastructure & Operations Management
• Oversee the health performance and scalability of AWS-hosted and legacy Linux environments.
• Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform and OpenTofu.
• Ensure high availability disaster recovery and security compliance across platforms.
• Champion DevOps best practices including CI / CD pipelines observability and proactive monitoring.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure strategy with organizational goals.
