Ultrasound Tech Job Details

Location : Montour Falls, NY 14865 (Finger Lakes region – New York healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (August 19, 2024 – November 18, 2024)

Healthcare Setting : Hospital – Ultrasound Main Unit

Shift : 3x12 hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,030 - $2,190

Call : Every other weekend call rotation required

Travel Requirement : 1 shift per week at CMC main campus

Ultrasound Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer in a hospital setting

Current ARDMS certification or equivalent sonographer credentials

Proficiency in vascular ultrasound and OB / GYN ultrasound procedures

Ability to participate in every-other-weekend call rotation

Strong communication and teamwork skills; clinical support experience preferred

Ultrasound Tech Responsibilities

Perform high-quality vascular and OB / GYN ultrasound examinations for hospital patients

Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging results

Maintain patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout all ultrasound procedures

Travel to CMC main campus for one shift per week as scheduled

Participate in every other weekend call rotation as required

Document ultrasound findings and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with hospital standards
