Job Requirements

Education Requirements : Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
Certifications Requirements : Valid LPN license, CPR certification, BLS certification
Experience Requirements : Minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinic experience, mental health experience preferred, experience with drug screening procedures
Other Requirements : Ability to work independently, strong communication skills, patience and compassion, ability to supervise detainees in a clinical setting

Job Responsibilities

Provide high-quality outpatient nursing care to detainees in a clinical setting, ensuring safety and compliance with facility protocols.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care, especially for individuals with mental health disorders.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and drug screen procedures.

Manage supervision of detainees during medication administration and specimen collection.

Execute patient education and health promotion activities tailored to mental health and outpatient needs.
