Database Engineer

General Description : We are seeking a Database Engineer to join our Computational Physics division, where our Data Platform team provides database support services to both software engineers and physicists.In this role, you will work closely with developers and researchers, maintaining and improving database infrastructure, optimizing queries, and ensuring consistent, scalable data interaction.Essential Duties : Maintain and improve database schemaMonitor and tune database performanceManage data integrity across air-gapped networksMaintain and improve infrastructure-as-code toolchainCollaborate with software engineers and researchers to optimize workflowsMentor junior engineers and contribute to strategic planningRequired Skills :

US Citizenship. Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance as required.Compensation : The base salary range for this full-time position is $120,715 - $150,895 + bonus + benefits.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
