The Salisbury VA Medical Center is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our team! Work Schedule :

8 : 00 a.m. ? 4 : 30 p.m.

Call Coverage :

Per rotation, 1 week every 5 weeks

Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center

Position Requirements :

• U.S. Citizenship :  Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is impossible to recruit qualified citizens, in accordance with VA policy.
• Education :  A Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or an equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine is required.
• Licensure :  Candidates must possess a current, complete, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Residency :  Completion of a residency program in an accredited core specialty.
• Board Certification :  Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Experience :  Preferred experience in treating medical retina conditions with anti-VEGF therapies, basic glaucoma, and cataracts.
