Major Responsibilities :

Create and maintain a clean and safe area conducive to optimal patient care by utilizing aseptic surgical techniques.

Prepare materials, supplies, and equipment for various surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile field.

Set up and maintain the operating room environment efficiently and safely, including moving and operating equipment.

Function effectively as a Second Assistant when needed.

Monitor and report any equipment issues promptly.

Transport patients and supplies, maintaining patient safety at all times.

Contribute to specialty equipment management, ensuring readiness for surgeries.

Provide age-appropriate care by understanding growth and development principles.

Qualifications :

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, obtained within 6 months.

No prior experience is required, making this a perfect opportunity for new graduates.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, stressful environment.

Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs from the floor to waist and push / pull with up to 30 lbs of force.

Engagement in regular movement, including walking, standing, squatting, and bending throughout your shift.
