Position Overview

The Vice President of Commercial Landscape Maintenance will oversee all aspects of the company’s landscape maintenance operations across multiple locations in Las Vegas. This executive role requires a strategic leader with a track record of driving operational excellence, managing profit and loss (P&L), and implementing standardized processes to support scalability. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to build and lead a high-performing team, establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), and define key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent service quality and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership : Oversee all commercial landscape maintenance operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery across multiple locations in Las Vegas.

Team Building : Recruit, develop, and lead a skilled team of professionals to execute the company’s vision and operational goals.

P&L Management : Full responsibility for the profit and loss of the landscape maintenance division, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to maximize profitability.

Process Standardization : Develop and implement SOPs to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and ensure consistency across all locations.

KPI Development : Establish and monitor KPIs to measure performance, drive accountability, and support data-driven decision-making.

Growth Strategy : Lay the foundation for scalable growth by identifying opportunities for operational improvements, market expansion, and new service offerings.

Client Relations : Maintain and strengthen client relationships to uphold the company’s reputation for excellence and reliability.

Competitive Positioning : Navigate the competitive Las Vegas market by leveraging industry expertise and innovative strategies to differentiate the company.

Compliance and Safety : Ensure all operations comply with local regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Proven Leadership : Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial landscape maintenance or a related industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing operations.

P&L Expertise : Demonstrated success in managing profit and loss for a multimillion-dollar operation, with strong financial acumen and budgeting skills.

Operational Excellence : Experience developing and implementing SOPs and KPIs to drive performance and scalability in a multi-location environment.

Team Building : Track record of recruiting, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced, competitive market.

Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of commercial landscaping, including maintenance techniques, equipment, and industry trends.

Strategic Vision : Ability to develop and execute a growth strategy that aligns with the company’s long-term objectives.

Communication Skills : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients, employees, and stakeholders at all levels.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in business, horticulture, landscape management, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CLT, CLP) preferred.
