Position at loanDepot Position Summary : The Business Systems Analyst (Reporting) will be responsible for the transformation and interpretation of data insights, reports, and dashboards. This role will primarily serve the marketing department, driving their reporting development and initiatives to empower data-driven marketing strategies and decisions. Secondary support will be provided to other departments as needed. The Analyst also provides Technology leadership with information required to make data-driven decisions, leading the analysis of reporting and analytics approaches and processes for the Technology organization and managing their ongoing delivery in alignment with Tech Governance objectives and routines. The ideal candidate possesses initiative and drive, strong analytics and reporting knowledge, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities :
- Interact with Marketing, Sales, Product team
- Compiles, assesses, validates, and analyzes structured and unstructured data from multiple sources to identify trends and answer questions critical to the Technology organization.
- Partners with data teams to acquire data needed for reporting and analytics needs.
- Leads activities across Technology teams to acquire necessary data for reporting and analytics needs.
- Develops, manages, and maintains a body of Performance Management reports and dashboards. 5. Designs, builds, and maintains KPIs for the organization to provide strategic insights to drive growth and performance.
- Leads benchmarking efforts against industry standards through metrics standardization and evaluations against short-term and long-term objectives.
- Builds and manages executive level reports, presentations, and dashboards, leveraging operational metrics from multiple sources.
- Supports broader reporting and analytics efforts for strategic Technology initiatives.
- Builds and maintains data collection tools to support the management of the organization.
- Performs analyses of historical data to surface trends and insights using advanced analytical methods.
- Researches and maintains industry best practices for analytical analysis and reporting methodologies.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on data analysis or statistics preferred and a minimum of three (5) + years’ experience working in a similar field working with data integration, modeling analytics or reporting using Microsoft PowerBI or other related tools.Experience with Executive level reporting preferred.Experience with JIRA and ServiceNow preferred.Experience in business intelligence and data warehousing preferred.Experience in Mortgage, Banking, Insurance or any other financial related industryDemonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position.Experience with object oriented or functional programming (. Python)Able to evaluate new technologies and build prototypes for continuous improvements in Data EngineeringExperience with Self-Service Business Intelligence tools like Tableau and AlteryxVery familiar with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases (. Snowflake) for running queries for large datasetsDemonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position.Intermediate skills in data correction, manipulation, and analytical reporting.Intermediate knowledge of cloud databases ., Snowflake and Microsoft Synapse to perform data validations.Highly proficient with Power Bi and a strong working knowledge of Power Platform toolset (Power Apps, Power Automate), Visual Studio, etc. Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Special emphasis on knowledge of Excel analytics capabilities.Intermediate knowledge of cloud databases ., Databricks, Microsoft Synapse to perform data validations.Intermediate math skills; calculate interest and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio, and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.Effective organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication with the ability to engage all levels of the organization.Ability to make decisions that have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and cross functional departments.Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules on a short-term and long-term basis.Ability to provide consultation and expert advice to management.Ability to deal with complex difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in nonstandardized situations.Why work for #teamloanDepot :

This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay for this roles is between $70,000 and $97,000. Your base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including your job-related knowledge / skills, qualifications, experience, and market location.
