Full-Time / Part-time 7-3,3-11 & 11-7

Apex Rehabilitation & Care Center,  a 5-Star facility, is seeking an experienced and dependable  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)  to join our team! We offer full-time, part-time, and per-diem positions.

DUTIES :

As a  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)  in a nursing home, you are responsible for recording the health details of residents, including vital signs and temperature, administering medications and injections, treating and dressing wounds and bedsores, helping residents get dressed and take care of their personal hygiene, monitoring food and liquid intake and output, and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). You are also expected to exercise independent judgment and provide guidance and direction to other caregivers in managing emergency events.

• Recording health details of Residents; including vitals & temperature.
• Administering medications and injections to Residents as needed.
• Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores as needed.
• May be required to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Helps Residents get dressed & take care of personal hygiene.
• Monitors Residents’ food and liquid intake and output.

REQUIREMENTS :

You must have a current New York State  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)  license, effective communication skills, creativity, and good observational and analytical skills.
