Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Bon Secours Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is GROWING in our Southampton clinic located in Franklin, VA - a charming community 75 min west of Virginia Beach.

Join a VERY Busy Orthopedic Surgeon and Nurse Practitioner in this clinic, who will provide support and mentorship for a new NP or PA.

• Experience in Orthopedics is preferred, but new grads are invited to apply
• Office Hours M-F 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM
• Call Schedule is shared with one other NP - 2 weeks per month - includes week day and weekend calls - phone only
• Clinic is very busy! The new NP / PA will provide post-operative follow ups, new patient evaluations, prepare patients for surgery - no O.R.
• Clinic Volume of 30-50 patients per day total for the team
• Surgeon does total knee replacements, shoulder scopes, carpal tunnel release, hip and wrist fracture repair, and more
• Rounding on hospital patients as needed to assist with post-op management
• Clinic Support - 1 LPN, 2 CMA, 1 Rad Tech, 4 Patient Service Reps, Clinic Manager
• EPIC EMR - and MyChart if appropriate
• New NP / PA must be a TEAM player - we are a small but close-knit clinic, must be willing to learn and support each other - our culture promotes teamwork, mutual respect and open communication between providers and staff. Relocation Allowance / Reimbursement of up to $5,000 is available if relocation is over 50 radius miles

$3,000 annually for CME

32 days annually of front-loaded ATO- prorated if less than a year
