TRD is looking for a highly motivated Driver-In-Loop Simulator Technician (Contract) for our Vehicle Simulation Department.
This position will be based out of Salisbury, NC and require travel to numerous race events per year.
As a Driver-In-Loop simulator technician, you will be a key member of TRD's state of the art DIL simulator team which has been serving our customers and race teams for several years with tremendous success. This position will be responsible for providing world class customer-oriented operation of DIL simulators, conducting comprehensive simulations, and performing systems troubleshooting and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate and collaborate with race teams during simulator sessions
- Rapid troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Routinely inspect data to ensure highest quality and accuracy
- Assist in systems engineering testing
- Assist in hardware and software integration into DIL simulators
- Continuously improve immersion and realism of driving experience
- Proactively improve operational workflow to maximize efficiency
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers and race teams with timely and professional interactions
A successful candidate will have :
