General Manager

Reporting to our VP of operations, the General Manager is responsible for safety, sales and P&L delivery, customer satisfaction and employee engagement for our precast manufacturing facility. This position is also responsible for upholding the ethical standards and reputation of the organization in the community. A highlight of your day-to-day responsibilities will include :

• Develop and deliver business plans to achieve budgeted sales, operational throughput and required profits. This includes developing plans for manpower, training, equipment maintenance / upgrades, organizational structure, marketing, and budgeting.
• Build the business unit to achieve the company's standard of absolute reliability on delivery dates. Review customer orders / satisfaction daily and resolve issues. Call customers proactively to communicate misses and to check on satisfaction.
• Provide direct leadership to the operations, purchasing, engineering, sales, and administrative teams to ensure all established goals are achieved.
• Collaborate with corporate HR to develop effective succession plans for new and emerging leaders of the business.
• Ensure that the overall Environmental Health and Safety culture, and program (and associated training, inspection, and enforcement systems) exist, and the necessary resources are provided.
• Successful operational health including, but not limited to, all inventory accuracy, planning, scheduling, and execution of projects, ensuring their timely completion & delivery.
• Coordinate with the Marketing team to implement digital and media strategy in local market. Ensure proper use of all brand standards and marks.
