Local Contract Nurse RN - Med Surg - $39 per hour

ARMStaffing is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 24 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Local Contract Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical (Night Shift) Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night Shift : 4 shifts of 12 hours (18 : 45 - 07 : 15), every other weekend required. Call may be required for prescheduled shifts. Job Description The Registered Nurse in this position will primarily work in the Medical Surgical unit, caring for adult and geriatric patients with general medical and surgical needs. The nurse will be responsible for administering medications, managing IV therapy, and providing wound care. Charge nurse experience is required for night shifts. Responsibilities Administer medications, including insulin and heparin drips. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage dysrhythmias. Perform wound care and changes for wound vacs. Provide high flow oxygen and occasional BiPap respiratory support. Ensure patient safety by following isolation precautions. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
