Overview

At Orion, we are seeking a Salesforce Engineer to support a pilot program focused on medication tracking and patient engagement. The opportunity involves Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and HealthCloud (or Sales / Service Cloud), with a strong emphasis on data-driven automation.

Opportunity

6-month contract-to-hire; Fully Remote (U.S. – Central Time Zone)

SALARY (W2)

$125,000 – $140,000

Key responsibilities

  • Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools and scripting languages including but not limited to Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, Contact Builder, Audience Builder, Automation Studio, and Dynamic Content
  • Work on Jira tickets for build / configuration tasks
  • Create automations for file / data import, audience segmentation, and journey kick-offs leveraging automation activities including but not limited to : SQL Queries, File Transfers, Import Files, Data Extracts, Verifications, Send Email, Send SMS
  • Collaborate with tech leads and architects
  • Develop SQL code necessary to import and transform data requiring use of Data Extensions and SFTP connectors
  • Conduct peer reviews and hand off to QA

Key experience

  • Strong experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • High proficiency with Salesforce Data Cloud (able to work independently)
  • Experience with Salesforce HealthCloud preferred; Sales or Service Cloud acceptable
  • Familiarity with Agile development (sprints, Jira, Confluence, peer reviews)
  • Experience with Git for version control including basic SQL skills (no complex joins required)
  • Data modeling and segmentation experience in Data Cloud or SFMC
  • Ability to read and understand AMPscript (not required to write)
  • Salesforce Certifications : Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or App Builder
  • Healthcare experience not required, but meaningful work connection is a plus
