Job Description Summary :

A System Modeling & Simulation Engineer 1 designs develops validates and maintains dynamic simulations and infrastructure for rapid assessment integration and test of complex systems. Simulation applications range from high-level behavioral simulations for visualization and evaluation of system concepts to high-fidelity real-time simulations and Hardware-in-the-Loop infrastructure to support development integration test and sustainment of systems and software.

Job Description :

Duties / Responsibilities

Model operational environments perform studies via computer simulation with guidance.

Perform modeling simulation and analysis tasks assess system survivability system effectiveness and overall system performance in engagement / mission-level scenarios with guidance.

Prepare and deliver presentations to gather necessary data and communicate intermediate and final results.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience with analytical methods approaches and data visualization.

Ability to collaborate within a diverse and multidisciplinary team.

Understanding of software development simulation dynamics control theory and hardware interfaces is required. This position requires the ability to reason about software designs given requirements and to formulate debugging strategies for complex systems.

Knowledge of MATLAB / Simulink or other simulation tools and C / C software development in Unix / Linux and Windows environments.

Education

Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer ScienceMathematics or related field. Masters degree preferred.

Experience

0-2 years of Systems Engineering or related experience.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is

$62500.00 - $125000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training. Union ranges will be in compliance with the collective bargaining agreements approved rates by location and role.
