Responsibilities
The Corporate Vice President of Communications and Public Relations is a strategic leader responsible for extensive writing, editing, planning, development, and execution of the organization’s communications and public relations. This leadership position is a key representative of Prime Healthcare with internal and external stakeholders and serves as the primary spokesperson. The role involves hands-on leadership in developing and deploying corporate communications, media relations, investor communications, government relations support, and PR / community engagement activities. This leader oversees a team responsible for internal communications, executive communications, PR and media relations, crisis communications, corporate sponsorships, Prime Healthcare Foundation activities, website development, digital marketing, and social media strategy. Collaboration with hospital leadership across the system is essential, with hospital communications teams reporting indirectly to this role.

Prime Healthcare offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, a 401K plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and voluntary benefits. The estimated total annual compensation ranges from $214,240 to $300,000, depending on various factors such as location, experience, and credentials. Employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses based on performance.
