Job description

Founding Engineer - AI Voice Assistants - San Francisco, CA

A YC-backed startup is building multilingual AI voice assistants that make real phone calls, already live in over fifteen languages are looking for a Founding Engineer to help shape the future of human-AI interaction.

What will I be doing?

  • Building core features end-to-end across the stack
  • Working on novel AI voice technology with real-world applications
  • Shipping fast, iterating constantly, and working directly with users
  • Collaborating closely with the founders (ex-Oxford and MIT) to shape the product and technical vision
  • Playing a key role in setting the engineering culture and roadmap

What are we looking for?

  • A builder mindset — someone who loves to prototype, test, and improve
  • Solid full-stack experience (Python, React, and / or Ruby on Rails)
  • Large Language Models
  • Strong product sense and interest in talking to users
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and excited about ownership
  • Passion for AI, voice tech, and solving real-world problems
