Goodhue County Health & Human Services is seeking qualified applicants for Child Welfare Social Workers. Two new positions are available within our team that provides support to families through Intake, Family Child Care Licensing, Foster Care Licensing, Child Protection Assessment, Parent Support Outreach, and Child Welfare Services. Specific duties for these positions may vary depending on the needs of the unit, so we are seeking candidates who are willing to be flexible and learn a variety of programs. Additional duties within Child Protection Case Management may also be assigned as needed. These positions may include some of the following duties :
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in social work or related human services field and two (2) years of full-time work experience preferred as a Social Worker in a public human services agency and / or a private community services agency that contracts services with a public human services agency. Or
A Master's Degree in social work or related field may substitute for up to one year of required Social Worker experience.
A valid Minnesota driver's license.
Required Social Work experience must have occurred after receipt of Bachelor's Degree.
Compensation and Benefits
County employees receive competitive pay and a generous benefit offering. The Child Protection Social Worker is compensated at salary grade 112 (full range $71,718 -$111,196.80). Starting annual compensation is $71,718 annually.
