12 Months Pay Range :

69.50 / hr Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Description : Preferred Requirements :

  • 5+ years of product safety engineering experience
  • Software development or system safety analysis
  • Application of agile development methods to deliver engineering work products
  • Experience with military qualification and / or FAA certification of airborne systems
  • Familiarity with the one or more of the following standards : ARP4754, ARP4761, MIL-STD-882, MIL-STD-1629, DO-178C, DO-254, AMCOM 385 and IEE 1633-2016
  • Gas turbine engine, propulsion, or electrical control system experience
  • Demonstrated experience with control system design and one or more of the following tools : Fault Tree+, Reliability Workbench, DOORS, Cameo Systems Modeler
  • Knowledge of systems engineering, and robust design tools and techniques coupled with the latest model-centric development approaches Basic Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 5+ years of product development engineering experience
  • Experience with aerospace safety certification
  • In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen

Collaborate with other teams and customers to develop electrical, electronics and mechatronics control system safety work products such as : System Safety and Reliability Assessment, Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) or Common Cause Analysis (CCA) Work with a cross-functional team to establish the highest standards of technical capability, quality, professionalism, and teamwork

  • Provide and support engineering and process guidance, training and create documentation Prepare and review engineering work products for technical documentation, quality, completeness Resolve complex problems through the application of acquired technical experience and knowledge Develop and communicate complex technical ideas and information in a concise and logical way.
