Job descriptionAccess to high surgical volume, including cataract and refractive surgery Collegial, team‑oriented atmosphere with a strong support staff Excellent infrastructure with two satellite clinics on the Oregon Coast (Florence and Newport) Long‑standing reputation for excellence in the region Light call duties as call is shared with all ophthalmologists in the area (2‑3 weeks annually) and no hospital call required; available if desired (with compensation) Located in Eugene, OR – a vibrant university town of 175,000 and home to the University of Oregon Access to mountains, Pacific Ocean, and high desert – all within driving distance Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts : hiking, fishing, skiing, biking, and more Great public and private schools, thriving arts scene, and outstanding quality of life Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Ophthalmology Fellowship training is welcomed but not required New graduates and experienced physicians welcome No prior history of disciplinary actions Strong clinical, surgical, and interpersonal skills Competitive income guarantee Full benefits package Partnership track available (opportunities for ownership in the ASC, optical and practice)
Ophthalmologist / Cataract Surgeon – Eugene, Oregon
The Eye Center is seeking a comprehensive ophthalmologist / cataract surgeon (fellowship trained also welcome) to join our well‑established, physician‑owned practice in Eugene, Oregon . This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated and skilled physician looking for a stable, collaborative, and patient‑focused environment with immediate surgical volume. The incoming ophthalmologist would be able to increase patient volume quickly as a senior physician looks to scale back from clinical duties.
