Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

Facilitate project activities such as training, webinars, community collaboration calls, team meetings, and data collection.

Assist with data collection, data entry, data management, and other related tasks.

Coordinate training schedules across collaborators with supervisor and trainees; assist with standard office responsibilities (e.g. preparing materials, filing).

Complete assessments during baseline, post, and follow-up sessions.

Attend scheduled trainings and staff meetings.

Utilize professional writing skills and a knowledge of standard research practices and data collection tools in performing work.

Creating and maintaining a social media presence to share information about our grants and grant activities which includes recruiting provider agencies and state organizations to assist with disseminating project related information.

Identifying, connecting with, and maintaining connections with resources and community providers for individuals with disabilities. This will also include organizing the resources and working with our information technology unit to input into our online database.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor, such as assisting with other grant or research related tasks and standard office responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree.

Work Experience :

2 years’ experience with grant implementation, data management and analysis, program development and public-facing training activities in a collaborative work environment.

1 year experience managing social media platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree.

Work Experience :

At minimum 1 year experience of training others in either clinical or professional settings).

Experience exhibiting understanding of scientific approaches to treatment such as the basic principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, particularly involving children.

Experience conducting interventions or research with children with autism (or related research projects).

Skills :

Quick to learn new technologies.

Strong organizational and planning skills as evidenced in work history.

Strong oral communication skills and professional writing skills and a knowledge of standard research practices and data collection tools.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and / or Google Suite applications.

Compensation Statement :

The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
