Pathology Lab Supervisor

Description

Under the direction of the Administrative Director and Associate Medical Director, the laboratory supervisor plans, directs and supervises all technical and operational activities performed in the division.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California or
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology or
• Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists or
• Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts or
• Upon hire: National Laboratory Tech - United States Government
• 4 years Clinical laboratory experience in a supervisory or lead technologist capacity in hospital/healthcare environment.
• Supervisory experience in acute care or ambulatory care environment as appropriate to the specific job assignment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years Experience as a supervisor or lead technologist in a clinical laboratory in acute care setting, with specialty training as appropriate.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
