Ediscovery Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled eDiscovery Project Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing plans for the preservation, collection, review, and production of electronic data in coordination with both internal teams at PayPal and external counsel. They will serve as a key partner in managing assigned client relationships across PayPal.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Scope : The project & program responsibilities are focused on internal information system-specific project tasks or non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, both typically from initiation through delivery.
- Organize daily activities based on organizational goals.
- Develop and implement new programs that support objectives.
- Monitor projects and oversee project managers.
- Evaluate program strengths and weaknesses.
- Develop program budgets and plans.
- Meet with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals.
- Improve strategies with the marketing team.
Expected Qualifications :
5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.Key Responsibilities :
Lead end-to-end eDiscovery projects from initial consultation through final productionManage project scope, timelines, budgets, and client expectations across multiple concurrent mattersCoordinate cross-functional teams including attorneys, technical staff, and vendorsDevelop and maintain project documentation, workflows, and status reportsOversee data preservation, and collections from Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environmentsManage data processing workflows in Relativity, including optimization and troubleshootingExecute complex productions adhering to varying specifications and legal requirements, including productions to government agenciesPerform forensic collections and analysis when requiredDevelop and maintain scripts to automate workflows and enhance efficiencyConfigure and administer Relativity backend infrastructure and databasesQualifications :
A solid understanding of eDiscovery and the litigation support industry which is typically a result of several years of experience in project management positions with law firms, corporate legal departments or eDiscovery service providersExtensive experience with the Relativity platform, including RelativityOne and other Relativity products, including administration and backend configurationDemonstrated proficiency across all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model :Information governance and identificationPreservation and collectionProcessing and reviewAnalysis and productionSQL scripting and database management capabilitiesProven experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace collectionsProficiency with forensic collection tools (e.g., OpenText Forensic (EnCase), FTK, Cellebrite, Oxygen, Magnet AXIOM, SUMURI)Experience managing large-scale, complex litigation mattersDemonstrated experience producing data to government agencies and regulatory bodies, including understanding of specific formatting and protocol requirementsFamiliarity with data processing platforms and methodologiesRelativity Certified Administrator (RCA) highly desiredAdditional Relativity certifications preferred (e.g., Relativity Analytics Specialist, Relativity Data Management Specialist, Relativity Processing Specialist, Relativity Project Management Specialist)Additional industry certifications valued (e.g., ACEDS, EnCE, CFCE)PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
