Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Shop Supervisor to support the continued growth of our Telecom and other product lines. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role will oversee day-to-day shop floor operations while coordinating with cross-functional teams including Production Planning, Warehousing, Procurement, and Quality Control. As our operations expand, this leadership role is critical to ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality across all production activities.

Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) is strongly preferred .
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Proven leadership ability to motivate teams and drive results in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and shop floor processes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in fiberglass or composite manufacturing is a plus but not required.

    • Job Duties :

  • Lead and supervise daily activities on the shop floor for a team of approximately 28 employees, ensuring production goals and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with Production Planning to maintain schedule adherence and meet customer delivery timelines.
  • Partner with the Plant Manager and support departments to streamline workflows and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and enforce safety procedures, policies, and compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Provide hands-on guidance, coaching, and development to production team members.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, scrap rates, and on-time delivery metrics.
  • Assist in resource planning, including labor, materials, and equipment utilization.
  • Support quality assurance efforts and promptly address any deviations or defects.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
