Safety-Kleen in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Warehouse Worker (Material Handler) to complete all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. Responsibilities
Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and always acting in a safe mannerUnload containerized waste from the route trucksReload route trucks with supplies and equipment for next day's runsEnsures all waste and containers are in acceptable shipping condition and organized for transport to recycle or distribution centersConduct inventory count and reconciliationVerify, receive, stock, and organize productPick, package, and ship outbound ordersOperate heavy material handling equipment such as forklift and pallet jackLoad and unload trucks with various equipment and by handCoordinate transportation for outbound shipmentsLocal deliveries when neededMove trailers or trucks within the yardHousekeeping in the branch (painting, picking up trash, sweeping, cleaning, straightening)Assist other business unitsSafely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirementsSafely observe all corporate operating guidelines and proceduresObserve all company environmental health and safety operating guidelinesPerform other duties as assignedFollow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rulesQualifications
Attention to detailFollow specific instructionsWork with minimal supervisionIntermediate computer skills with applications such as Microsoft Office - Excel and Outlook experience requiredWork indoors and outdoors in all weather conditionsPrevious relevant experienceForklift experienceMechanically inclined and able to complete general warehouse maintenancePerform physical functions per job requirementsSuccessfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by positionPreferred Qualifications :
RF scanner experienceExperience with waste labels, manifests, and load sheetsExperience dealing with containerized waste and chemicals
