About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Controller or CFO to take on a pivotal role in leading its financial operations during a significant transition. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting, reporting, and financial activities, including the management of the monthly close, cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting. This hands-on and strategic position requires ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls, as well as working closely with the executive team on financial strategy. The Interim Controller / CFO will also be tasked with leading and supporting a small accounting and finance team, identifying process improvements, and strengthening financial systems. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA or MBA being preferred. A minimum of 7-10 years' progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership roles, is required, along with a proven track record in interim, turnaround, or transitional leadership. The role demands a deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cash flow management, as well as experience with financial and accounting ERP systems. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a dynamic, hands-on role with limited supervision.
