Speech Language Pathologist

We're seeking a passionate and licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality therapy services to students in grades K-8 or high school, depending on assignment. This is a rewarding opportunity to support communication development in a collaborative school environment.

Location : Within New York City School District

Start Date : ASAP

Contract Length : 9+ months with direct placement option

Pay Range : $55-60 per hour

Hours : 30+ hours per week, during standard school week (no weekends)

What You'll Do

• Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students in assigned grade levels.
• Conduct evaluations and develop tailored therapy plans to address communication challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure holistic support.
• Maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Support development of speech clarity, language comprehension, and social communication.
• Implement strategies to enhance receptive and expressive language skills.
• Educate families and school personnel on effective communication techniques.
• Assist students with cognitive communication skills such as memory, problem-solving, and executive functioning.
• Provide recommendations for continued therapy or additional support services.
