Job Summary and Qualifications

The Inpatient Rehab Registered Nursedemonstratesknowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and careofpatients.

What you will do in this role :

Promote customer service initiatives along with the Hospital Values while documenting all patient care.

Utilize Nursing Process for individual care to meet needs of inpatient rehab patients.

Perform dutiesin accordance withunit specificstandards of care andevidencedby documentation,observationand competencies.

Assessment completed within 24 hours of admission and each shift as needed by patient condition.

Nursing Plan of Care is developed to meet individual patient needs according to nursingstandardof care / practice within 24 hours of admissions.Plan is updated with any changes in patient condition at least every 24 hours.

Formulateand take nursing actions to implementplanof care; record actions and patient response in Meditech.

Provide patient education and documentation of understandingregardingtests, procedures,equipmentand medications.

Qualifications : CRRN preferred

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license forappropriate state

Nursing degree Diploma, AS, or BS

BLS

Direct inpatient rehab experience; one year or more preferred, involving extensive knowledge ofrehab / criteria
