Travel LTAC Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

Location : Rochelle Park, NJ

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Shift : Nights – 3x12s

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) assignment in Rochelle Park, NJ . This opportunity is ideal for nurses passionate about delivering high-quality care to medically complex patients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering quality nursing care by following individualized care plans and coordinating with interdisciplinary team members. The RN will supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees while maintaining a safe, supportive, and patient-centered care environment.

Responsibilities

Complete nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission

Develop and implement individualized care plans

Provide accurate documentation of all assessments, interventions, and patient responses

Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support rehabilitation goals

Initiate discharge planning and patient education from day one

Communicate changes in patient status clearly and effectively across all care teams

Supervise and delegate responsibilities to ancillary staff appropriately

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and nursing standards

Ensure a safe and positive environment for both patients and staff

Assume charge responsibilities as needed

Actively pursue professional growth and continuing education

Qualifications

Active RN license (New Jersey or Compact)

Minimum of 1 year of recent LTAC or acute care experience preferred

BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative clinical setting
