Architecture & Modeling
Own and evolve SysML / CAMEO models, DoDAF views, and interface control documents linking PG subsystems with SATCOM, DI, and cross-domain components.Ensure full requirements traceability to mission threads and verification methods supporting CJADC2 and Operational Imperative #2.Requirements & Baseline Management
Elicit, manage, and decompose system requirements in DOORS-NG (or equivalent).Lead configuration control and maintain model-document alignment within the technical baseline.Integration & Digital Thread Execution
Partner with IPTs to translate digital designs into SIL builds; troubleshoot cross-domain, crypto, and data-bus integration challenges.Continuously update the model with real-world integration feedback.Verification Alignment
Coordinate with test teams to build the VCRM and validate performance, safety, and cybersecurity early via “shift-left” practices.Provide technical concurrence for IATTs and airworthiness packages.Risk & Program Metrics
Manage the technical risk register; brief mitigation plans and maturity metrics to senior USAF leadership.Sync performance data with IMS and program dashboards.Mentorship & Collaboration
Guide mid-level engineers on MBSE, Agile / SAFe, and DevSecOps practices in a classified environment.Foster a model-first, cross-functional culture among Government and industry partners.Minimum Requirements :
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is requiredActive TS / SCI clearance.B.S. in Systems, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Engineering—or related field and 15+ years of systems engineering on DoD C4ISR, avionics, or open‑architecture programs, including requirements management, architecture, and integration or a Masters plus at least 12 years of experience.Proficiency with SysML modeling tools (CAMEO / MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or equivalent) and requirements databases (DOORS, Jama).Demonstrated experience leading multi‑disciplinary design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and managing technical baselines in a digital‑engineering environment.Solid grasp of MIL‑STD avionics power, data links (Link‑16 / 22, TTNT, OMS / UCI), SATCOM, Type‑1 crypto, and RMF / IA compliance.Desired Qualifications :
INCOSE CSEP / ESEP or DAU ENG / SAE Level III certification.Prior work on ABMS, CJADC2, or other open‑architecture airborne networking efforts.Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines (Platform One / Iron Bank) and automated model validation (ModelCenter, Cameo Simulation Toolkit).Experience briefing SES / GO audiences and shaping acquisition strategy documents (AS, SEP, SEMP, TEMP).
