Travel RN - Cardiovascular ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU night shift position requiring recent CVICU experience and a compact or NC RN license.

Job Details

• Position is based in a Level 1 Trauma, Academic Medical Center in the Cardiovascular ICU,
• Unit is a 22-bed ICU with an average daily census of 20 patients,
• Patient population includes surgical and medical cardiac critical care such as post-CABG, valve repair, Impella, IABP, thoracic aortic aneurysms, and more,
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 2,
• 12-hour night shifts from 6 : 30pm to 7 : 00am with every other weekend work required,
• Travelers may float to other critical care units such as PCU (1 : 3 ratio) and MS (1 : 4 ratio),
• Epic EMR is used; experience preferred,
• No on-call requirements,
• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays,
