Technical Writer

GCYber is seeking a Technical Writer to support a government customer. The technical writer will write rewrite and / or edits technical documents as technical procedure manuals user manuals programming manuals service manuals operational specifications and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences.

As the Technical Writer you will :

• Researches and gathers technical information by interviewing subject-matter experts reviewing specifications and engineering materials and observing production methods.
• Translates complex technical data into clear user-friendly content for print and digital publications including manuals proposals websites and podcasts.
• Oversees and selects illustrative materialsdrawings diagrams charts and graphicsto support and clarify publication objectives.
• Develops and maintains cataloging systems records files and electronic archives for publication materials.
• Supports preparation and delivery of technical seminars business forums and presentations as needed.
