We are looking for a highly analytical and proactive FP&A Manager to join our Finance team within a fast-growing fintech organization. This role will drive financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analyses that support rapid scaling, product innovation, and regulatory complexity. The ideal candidate has deep financial modeling capabilities, thrives in high-growth fintech environments, and understands the unique financial and operational drivers of payments, lending, digital banking, or other financial technology businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual operating plan, monthly / quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial planning for the company.
- Build and maintain complex financial models supporting revenue streams such as payments volume, interchange, lending, subscription fees, or transaction-driven revenue.
- Conduct cohort, unit economics, and customer lifetime value analyses to guide strategic decisions.
- Identify performance trends, risks, and opportunities through deep financial and operational analysis.
Reporting & KPI Management
Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership, the board, and investors.Track and analyze core fintech KPIs (CAC, LTV, churn, credit performance, delinquency rates, take rate, cost per transaction, and contribution margin).Develop dashboards and reporting automation to enhance data visibility across teams.Strategic Business Partnering
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in Product, Growth, Risk, Operations, Engineering, and Compliance.Support pricing strategies, new product launches, credit program design, and risk underwriting models.Evaluate capital allocation, lending capacity, user growth initiatives, and customer acquisition strategies.Work closely with the Risk team to assess credit performance, portfolio trends, and reserve forecasting.Financial Systems & Process Improvement
Build scalable financial models as the business grows into new markets or product lines.Drive enhancements in systems, tools, and processes; experience with tools like Adaptive, Anaplan, SQL, or Looker is a plus.Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate month-end close and reporting.Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives
Conduct deep dives into revenue drivers, operating expenses, fraud trends, and credit portfolio performance.Support due diligence, fundraising efforts, investor materials, and scenario modeling.Lead ad-hoc analyses and strategic initiatives to support rapid company transformation and scaling.Qualifications
Experience
6–10 years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, fintech strategy, or management consulting experience.Prior experience in fintech strongly preferred (payments, digital banking, lending, credit, or other financial services technologies).Proven expertise developing models for transaction-based revenue, credit / lending portfolios, or high-transaction-volume businesses.Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous, high-growth environments.Skills
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; comfort with large datasets.Strong understanding of fintech business models, unit economics, and regulatory considerations.Ability to analyze credit metrics, customer behavior, and transaction-level data.Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to translate complex analysis into insights for executives and non-finance stakeholders.High attention to detail, strong business judgment, and a bias for action.Proficiency with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, SQL preferred).Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field required.MBA, CFA, or CPA is a plus but not required.Seniority level
