Per Diem Registered Nurse - Wound Center

Position Summary : Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in the Wound Center, where you will report to the Clinical Nurse Manager. In this role, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient-centered care, collaborating effectively with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and their families.

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for :

• Providing high-quality direct and indirect patient care.
• Communicating promptly and accurately regarding patient conditions.

• Promoting professional nursing practices through collaborative support.

Education / Certification : To qualify, you must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school and hold a current nursing license in the state of Connecticut. Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support is required upon hire, or you must obtain it during the new employee introductory orientation period. You will be expected to maintain clinical competency throughout your employment.

Experience : Previous medical-surgical nursing experience is necessary, and wound care experience is preferred.

Competencies : You should possess effective communication skills in English (both verbal and written) and demonstrate basic computer proficiency.
