ABOUT THE ROLE POAH Communities is seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as Maintenance Technician for Walnut Grove Apartments . This individual will be a bright and dynamic leader with hands-on experience. Walnut Grove Apartments is a 176-unit family development located in Blacklick, Ohio, a small unincorporated community on the northeastern portion of the Columbus Metropolitan area. POAH purchased the property from the National Church Residences (NCR). It consists of 50 one- and two-story single-family homes and 17 townhouse buildings containing 126 units. The development contains 64 two-bedroom, 62 three-bedroom and 50 four-bedroom units. The property sits on 10.5 acres on a 15 + acre campus shared by two other properties owned by NCR. Amenities for the property include two playgrounds and a community building that contains the management offices as well as a laundry and community room. Additionally, each single-family home has a single car garage. Walnut Grove Apartments : ABOUT YOUR IMPACT

• Insuring a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Being knowledgeable of pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Being aware of the condition of apartment property throughout the community and immediately initiate action to correct unsafe conditions.
• Scheduling and performing routine preventative maintenance on all appropriate equipment.
• Performing work area clean-up and safety related duties.
• Diagnosing and perform minor and routine maintenance / repairs.
• Insuring all make-ready repairs and services are completed.
• Inspecting and helping coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services.
• Assisting in keeping grounds neat and clean. Rake, sweep, shovel as necessary.
