Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team! As a Medical Receptionist, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to greeting patients, checking them in, updating and verifying insurance information, and taking payments. You will also answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department, make appointments, mail or fax documentation to the appropriate department, and maintain excellent medical and correspondence records, as appropriate. The ideal candidate is mature, responsible, reliable, punctual, friendly, very organized, has strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and works well independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

Greet patients

Ascertain their needs and get them checked in

Answer the phone and schedule appointments or answer patient questions

Maintain comprehensive medical records, as needed

Check patients out and schedule any follow up appointments

Qualifications

Strong customer service skills

Excellent organizational skills

Attention to detail

Experience in Epic preferred

Previous office experience desired
