Primary Care Internal Medicine Physician

Position Overview

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is expanding to better serve our community, employing over 2,000 primary care and specialty physicians, as well as more than 800 advanced practice clinicians through LVPG.

This opportunity is located in the scenic Poconos region of East Stroudsburg, PA. The practice currently consists of Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Primary Care Clinicians with 8 physicians and 5 advanced practice clinicians. The office hours are Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM, with shared on-call responsibilities among all clinicians. Patient appointment durations include 40 minutes for new patients and wellness / preventative visits for individuals aged 45 and older, 45 minutes for transitions of care and medical clearances, and 20 minutes for returning patients, wellness / preventative visits for patients under 45, and acute visits. Full-time positions are considered at 36 patient-facing hours, with part-time options available.

The Division of Internal Medicine is thriving with over 20 practices and 100 clinicians across the network.
