Description : Scarborough Public Schools is seeking an License Practical Nurse (LPN) for Wentworth School, 3-5 gr. The position will partner with an RN in a school-based setting to provide direct health services to our students. The district health services team has seven RN's at the five other schools. Please refer to the complete job description for further detail.

Qualifications :

Minimum requirements :

• Holds and maintains a valid LPN license from the Maine Board of Nursing.
• Fingerprinted from Maine Department of Education.
• Previous experience in school nursing, pediatric nursing or related nursing specialty.
• Certified in CPR / AED.
• Ability to learn and master Student Information Software for the purpose of documentation and access of student information as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and to work as a collaborative team member.

Maine State Law requires ALL school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC). A copy of your CHRC MUST be uploaded as part of your application to be considered.
