Job descriptionWeekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Flexible scheduling First assist in cardiothoracic surgeries Round and discharge patients every morning Management of medications, labs, and patient consults Chest tube management and removal Attend multidisciplinary rounds when on call Handle emergency cases and calls from the critical care unit ACLS certification required Preferably board certified or board eligible Strong experience in cardiovascular procedures Experience with endoscopic vein and radial harvesting is advantageous Daily shifts from 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM Call rotation every third day and every fourth weekend Proficiency in robotic and traditional procedures using DaVinci Xi Robot Effective communication skills for patient consults and team collaboration Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure Familiarity with ICU and OR protocols and procedures
